Has House (TV show) become dry?

The show has been stretched out with similar story lines. Their idea of refreshing the show is to boot one of the best characters, and end a popular story line on a negative note. Has it lost its luster?Has House (TV show) become dry?
You pretty much know what to expect with every episode. Someone will get extremely sick. Then they will get worse. Then ever worse. Then House and his crew will find out what is wrong with the person. And fix them. It's no fun to watch a show when you already know the ending in each episode. But House is a fantastic character. He is funny, sarcastic and charming in his own way so people will keep watching the show to see Hugh Laurie.Has House (TV show) become dry?
The newest season of House, IMO, is very boring and becoming very repetitive. The first episode with House inside the mental hospital was pretty awesome but after that the show started to become stupid. Not to mention that I'm sick and tired of Chase, Cameron, and Forman. I loved them as the original team but once they left/got fired, they should have just stayed gone. It's becoming cheesy and is beginning to make the show stupid.

Not to mention that House isn't near as cool without his drugs and problems they caused.
The current season started out slowly when they brought back Cameron and Chase, two of the most boring characters on the show. However, Chase's issues and the fact that Cameron left give me hope that the show will improve soon. If only there was a way to bring back Amber, who gave the show a lot of life.
